“Very little right now is going according to plan - you have to be able to have some inner fortitude to roll with the punches.” - Kim Troy

Hey you wild woman!

My next guest is the Founder and CEO of Civilis Consulting, a business advisory firm providing strategic sales, marketing, operations and HR guidance to fast-growth businesses. Civilis’ seasoned consultants work alongside CEOs and leadership teams to strategize and implement organization-wide transformations; and have deep expertise advising companies with remote or geographically dispersed business units.

Prior to Civilis, Kim Troy founded Kimberly Troy Consulting, working with field-based wildlife conservation organizations – primarily in southern Africa – to improve the utilization of financial and human resources. She has also held executive-level positions in Human Resources, Operations, and Sales for some of the world’s largest corporations, including L Brands.

She has a BA in Psychology and Business Administration from the University of Puget Sound and a Diversity & Inclusion certification from Cornell. She is an expert facilitator, Prosci® certified Change Management Practitioner, and certified DDI® Targeted Selection trainer.

In this week's episode, How to Build Resilient Teams, we're talking about all things resiliency. Things like:

  • Why resilience in business and life has become so important.

  • How you can build more resilience in your employees.

  • How to dig deep enough with people to get to the root of someone’s truth.

  • How to recognize resiliency in a younger person who hasn’t lived very many experiences that build resilience.

What it means to be a WILD woman:

“Following your own path. Taking risks and being confident enough in your own abilities to pursue what your heart tells you to go for.”- Kim Troy
